A complete set of terms and conditions is available at southwest.com/gift-card/. Gift card is nonrefundable and not redeemable for cash or credit except where required by law. Gift card is not replaceable if lost, stolen or destroyed. Protect the card like cash. For balance check, call 1-866-393-2081. If you wish to redeem your gift card online at southwest.com, please follow these steps:

  1. Select all desired flights and enter passenger information.
  2. Proceed to the payment information section.
  3. Under the "Do you want to apply travel funds?" section, click on "Apply Travel Funds."
  4. Enter the gift card number and security code (PIN) in the designated location.
  5. Click on the "Apply Funds" button.
  6. The amount on the gift card will be deducted from the total.
  7. If there is a remaining balance, you will need to use another form of payment to cover it.

BEWARE! Buy at your own risk

DO NOT BUY THESE! I purchased $2500 worth of Southwest Gift Cards online. When I went to use them, every single one said "No Balance". I contacted Southwest who confirmed that someone else had accessed them and used the funds. They could see who it was and that it wasn't me but then said they could not help beyond that and that I needed to contact Sam's Club. I contacted Sam's Club who said they couldn't do anything and I needed to contact Southwest. Very disappointed in both companies. How can you sell these but not stand behind them when their system allows tampering and fraud?

    Southwest Airlines Gift Card

    At first I was a little skeptical but the Gift card arrived in my email within 45 minutes from the time I purchased. I used the entire amount then for the difference I paid with a credit card. They only let you pay using 2 methods of payment on Southwest Airlines. I will definitely purchase more gift cards from Sam’s Club. Everything worked out great plus I was able to save money !!

    Easy to use but limit of 3 payment types on SW

    Easy to use, good to get at least some savings on expensive flights. Beware that Southwest only allows 3 total payment types which has to cover the entire amount of the purchase. Each gift card is one payment type. If gift cards and any other credits you have don't cover the entire amount, then you need a credit card to cover the balance, which is also counted as one payment type against the 3 allowed per transaction

    Buyer Beware...

    Starting this off with I have absolutely no qualms with Sam's Club, their processing of these gift cards, etc. Just here to gripe about using these gift cards on southwest. First off, Southwest does not treat their gift cards like cash. You can ONLY use them for the purchase of the airfare. They cannot be used for baggage, seat purchases, inflight purchases, pet fares, or unaccompanied minor fees. If you're not able to take your booked flight, the refund does not get put back onto the gift card for future use. It goes back onto a flight credit which expires. Last, I've run into multiple issues with Southwest not honoring their "max 3 SW gift cards per passenger per reservation". When booking my family of 4, it always caps off as two gift ca...
