My dog is very food oriented.  When it gets close to the time for her Fresh Pet, she gets really excited!  And maybe it’s my imagination, but at 14 1/2 years old, she seems more spry than she’s been in a long time.  Needless to say, I will be buying more.

Must be good cause it doesn’t last long!

Our 13-year-old chihuahua/terrier mix, Sheba, is an extremely picky eater.  We finally found this food at our local grocery, and then, happily found it in a box of three packages for a better price.  We had tried some of the other FreshPet varieties, but after a time she lost interest in them.  She seems to like the smaller, firmer bites.  I'm not sure why except that they may be easier to chew.  Sheba prefers the Chicken Dinner variety.  But this funny little dog refuses the larger bits of carrot and cranberry that are part of the dish.  Even so, she lets us know what she wants every morning and evening.

Beware I picked this up during the holiday week and inside the box the bags were past date of freshness. I only noticed it once I opened one of them up and had to throw it out. The employees do not rotate!

The food made my puppy sick, even though he had been eating it in a smaller size for 2 weeks prior to my purchase in bulk from Sam’s. Perhaps it wasn’t stored properly or wasn’t a good batch. I will be returning it.

Pet fresh

I was so happy when Sams started carrying this product; however when I got it home and opened the pouch the food spoiled by the second day.  I’m hoping this is a result of poor handling.  Not sure if I will chance it and spend the sixty dollars for the two boxes I bought.
