<p>We hand cut all of our steaks and roasts daily for superior freshness. Only 5-6 out of 100 head of cattle qualify for Prime Beef. Our beef is certified Prime, which means the beef you take home is the same high quality you would expect from some of the finest steakhouses, with exceptional tenderness, juiciness and flavor. You can expect our Member's Mark steaks and roasts to have a rich flavor due to superior marbling with 18g of protein per serving. Our ranchers raise premium cattle, which allows for such a high-quality product. We offer a great selection of steaks and roasts in a variety of package sizes great for members and families.</p> <h3>Roast Prep and Cooking Suggestions:</h3> <p>We suggest cooking Member's Mark Roasts within 2-4 days after purchase. Rub the roast down with Member's Mark Extra Virgin Olive Oil and generously season with Member's Mark Tones Sea Salt and Member's Mark Ground Black Pepper. Once seasoned, cover the roast and let rest on the counter for no more than three hours.</p> <h4>Oven</h4> <ul>  <li>Preheat your oven to 350°F.</li>  <li>Roast the meat, fat side up, in a roasting pan for 3 hours or 15 minutes per pound.</li>  <li>The internal meat temperature should reach 145° F for a medium roast.</li>  <li>Let roast rest for 10 minutes before cutting.</li> </ul> <h4>Grill/Smoke</h4> <ul>  <li>Preheat your grill to low medium heat.</li>  <li>Roast the meat on the opposite side of the grill, away from the heat source with the fat side up, for 3 hours or until internal meat temperature reaches 110ºF.</li>  <li>Once internal meat temperature reaches 110º F, increase grill temperature to medium-high and cook until internal meat temperature reaches 145º F. We always go for the prime rib at Christmas and this year, Sam's Club did not disappoint with a great cut that we cooked for the family.  Best part was cashing in my Sam's bucks that I had accumulated, to make it a great way to close out the year with a special entree.

Great cut for Christmas Dinner

Perfect 2 ways as a Roast or Steaks. The marbling is perfect. The trimmer did a fantastic job. Just the right amount of fats left on for flavor. You get what you pay for and it was amazing. We will always buy this product and yes I tell my Family & Friends.

Roast or Steaks both Amazing

Great nine pounder of Prime rib sitting in our refrigerator aging with coarse salt cap ready for Xmas dinner. We aged ours last year for three weeks and it was delicious. Butcher told us this trick and it works, you may lose a pound of weight but well worth it.

Best Xmas Prime Rib

I want to mark this 5 stars because the taste and quality were outstanding. My complaints are 1, You guys truss that thing with that terrible elastic, why can't I have the bones then, I would pay for the weight. 2, this thing was covered in small bone chips. Looked like glitter all over it. I washed it off for the most part but still super unpleasant to find in a bite of incredible quality meat.

Almost perfect

I expected the roast to weight close to the 5 lbs shown in the picture.   When one is paying around $20 per  pound, it is rather important that the cost be somewhat accurate.  I did curbside pickup.  Imagine the surprise i had when i got home and found over 8 lbs of meat and a bill for  over $160.  The roast was excellent but i wouldn't think it is that hard to be more precise.

Butcher gone wild!

So I was surprised when I saw the product description. It clearly states USDA Prime Angus Beef "Boneless" Ribeye Roast, and that is what I thought I was getting. When I got it out of the package it clearly had rib bones attached. But it was Christmas and I did not want a hassle, but since you asked I thought you should know/

Measure twice Cut once.

Placed an order and when my family returned to pick it up the order was no where to be found. They were told that they needed to place another order. I went to pick up the second order and when I complained to management I was told that the first order wasn't filled because the butcher was too lazy to fill the order. They did fill my order during this trip!

Terrible Service

This is a roast we make every year. This year the cut we had was “off”. I understand this meat should have marbling, but there was way too much fat on the cut we had. I really searched for a good cut in the case and they were all super fatty this year. Feel like we had to cut and throw away a big portion of this roast. Certainly not cheap. I will still try again next year because when it's leaner it's really delicious. Just iff this year.

“Off” this year

The roast was tied up, as expected.  But once cooked and the ties removed, it was three horizontal cuts tied up to look like one large roast.  It fell into three distinct sections.  It was not a roast.

This was NOT a Prime Rib Roast

I bought for Easter was cooking it on my smoker. I had two probes to get the temp right and they never would match. When I took it off and cut it down the middle it was a large piece of fat covering about half of the roast I salvaged what I could but threw most of it out
