About this item

Product details

The powerful iGen2200 Portable Inverter Generator produces up to 2,200 peak watts and 1,800 running watts, making it a great option for home use during a power outage or for recreational uses such as camping and tailgating.

Ultra-quiet operation

The iGen2200 is among the quietest generators on the market, operating at only 52 dBA. Unlike traditional open-frame generators, the iGen2200 safely powers sensitive electronic devices by producing clean, stable electricity similar to the power you get from your home.

Efficient, long-lasting design

Powered by a 4-stroke Westinghouse engine, the iGen2200 is engineered to automatically adjust its engine speed to produce only the amount of power you need, resulting in exceptional fuel efficiency. The iGen2200 also has premium built-in safety features including low oil shutdown and overload protection. Additionally, the iGen2200 is backed by a 3-year warranty and Westinghouse's lifetime technical support.

Power that scales with your needs

If you need more power, the iGen2200 is parallel capable, allowing you to pair it with another Westinghouse iGen inverter. Simply use a Westinghouse WHPC Parallel Cord (sold separately) to double your power output.

EASY - EASY

Easy set up, start and run. Works great with my 5th wheel and after installing a Micro-air easy start it will even run the 15k btu AC unit - great generator

So far so good

I have only used the generator 3 times and so far it is working fine. Quiet and easy to start (usually 2 pulls). I have run power saw lights and small air compressor and worked great.

Good generator when the big power isn't needed

Small, relatively lightweight and well balanced to move around, even for a somewhat older user. The manual is good, to the point, but one thing I had to find out on the internet from other reviews was that the ease of starting and the idling later on in use depends upon a bit of a run-in. Now starts on first or second pull, which isn't too hard, and once running, I can now back down from full choke to have it run without stuttering
