[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for myself. I thought it would be an improvement over my regular stand mixer. I like the fact that the bowl rises but the head doesn't tilt and this makes it not as nice and quite a draw back

It is convenient and does an awesome job. Best of all you can load it, turn it on and go do some other things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this larger style mixer because my original stand mixer a Rival I purchased in 1991 is trying to hang in there but is struggling these days. I bake and decorate a lot; a lot of cakes and I was hoping for something to get me through the next 20 years. This stand mixer while larger in size is difficult to get the bowl on and off without having to remove the beater that is being used. The bowl while metal seems a bit flimsier than the bowl on my Rival, however, is slightly larger by 1 quart. I did like the fact that I received a variety of beaters and a small bowl with this purchase. I really DO NOT like the fact that it does not have the tilt option like the smaller versions. And yes, I knew this when I purchase it but was just hoping that it would be more user friendly as I got used to it. Unfortunately, I am not seeing that in my near future.

I can cook pretty well, but baking wasn't something I was very well versed in. This unit has made it fun to do some experimenting with scones, cookies, desserts etc. to make for my kids. Looking forward to many more batches of "Made with Love" concoctions!

I love to make coffee cake. The dough hook is a life saver for someone with a bad back. Kneeding dough by hand is hard work

I've only used a cheap hand mixer and was kinda weary on using the lift bowl but it's grown on me. It's perfect for making treats and such for my large family. I'm very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my old stand mixer and ended up having to use it anyway because this one didn't come with a shield and as soon as I turned it on the stuff flew everywhere. This thing is unusable with out a shield as far as I'm concerned. Unless you like having to clean flour dust through out whole house for the next month. Or in this case powdered sugar.

I love the color beautiful blue, the attachments, and the quality of how it's made. We love it so much our other house got the Professional version in Matte Black.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've wanted one of these for so long and finally got one of the bowl lift 5 quart. However, I'm having issues with things sticking to the sides of the bowl and none of the attachments work. I even bought one of the scraping attachments and it doesn't work either. Not sure what kind of advice you can give or let me know what I may be doing wrong if anything? Made a cheesecake that was a disaster as the cream cheese stuck to the sides and big chunks didn't mix in. It would also be nice if there was some kind of guide to show you which attachments to use for what kind of mixing. The bread hook is a given, but the others I'm not totally sure of to get things to actually mix.
