The bowl lift is very convenient as I use it below my kitchen cupboard. It I had to tilt the top I couldn't operate there.

This summer when if finally wore out I didn't hesitate to get another Kitchenaid. Some changes have happened over the last 28 years, but honestly most of those changes are for the better. The new mixer has a bigger motor, better designed dough hook, and need I mention all the pretty colors? I am so happy with my mixer.

This mixer, however, is like having an extra hand in the kitchen. Made many batches of cookies over the Holidays and butter bread is likely the next project. Solid product that will last.

The only thing I'd change about it is I'd like the beater to have some type of silicone or something of the sort to be able to reach all of the bottom and sides of the bowl while mixing so I don't have to stop the machine and use a spatula, other than that, I have no complaints!

I didn't think I'd use one, but found all kinds of ways to use the mixer other than baking. First thing I made was shredded chicken. Then refrigerator pickles and the hamburger buns. I'm liking the YouTube videos for inspiration.
