I had an older KitchenAid professional mixer so I know how nice they are. Loved all the extras that came in the box with this package. They do specials for big box stores so beware that this model will not show up on some of the attachments that you can purchase. They still should all fit. I have had some trouble finding the flex edge beater for this model.

I do a good bit of baking...various pastries, layered cakes, icings, etc. This mixer is great....handles heavy batters like a pro and it's fairly simple to clean up. I have noticed that it doesn't seem to get all of the batter that is on the side of the mixing bowl. I've used an attachment that has a little rubber spatula-like on the side of the beater to clean off the sides of the bowl, but I don't think it helps much. To work around it, I'll periodically turn the mixer off and use a rubber spatula to clean it off. It's really not that big of an issue for me. I still think it's a great mixer and I would definitely purchase it again! I'm very pleased with it and wish I would have purchased one a few years ago. Even though I have this mixer, I do still continue to use my smaller handheld Kitchen Aid mixer for simpler everyday things like mashed potatoes.

I've been waiting over 20 years to get one of these. I got it as a Christmas present from my husband. We never could afford one. Still couldn't but he just went ahead and got it. And It's a red one. It's a very nice mixer and has the capabilities of adding quite a few different attachments. My sister loves the noodle maker.

My wife has been wanting a KitchenAid mixer so we got married, and i found an awesome deal on this one. She has been using it non-stop since I got it for her birthday, and we could not be more pleased. I bought the one in the retro blue color and it looks and works great! A fine piece of kitchen machinery.

The mixer works well and adquately handles the big jobs. When using the small bowl, the beaters don't clean the batter off the sides of the bowl. I have to use a spatula to assure complete mixing of the batter. The motor also emits a fairly loud whine when running.

Purchased this mixer as a replacement for a similar model. I knew I was going to be purchasing another of the same brand, but was unsure of the model to choose this time around. After a lot of researching and pricing, I decided on this one. I really like the high wattage, through research I read how the higher wattage coincides with durability. I also like the soft start feature this one offers. Although my past mixer and this one are both the professional models, the newer model seems to be more heavy duty. I wish my bowls from the older model we're interchangeable with the new. Since I am very familiar with this brand and the product I feel confident in my purchase and feel that Sam''s price at my time of purchase made this very enticing.

Love my new KitchenAid stand mixer! Sam's had the best price around and had it in my choice of colors-red! It has two bowls with two whips, a dough hook and a heavy duty spatula. You can also add all sorts of attachments like a food processor, a meat grinder and a pasta press.

My wife has been wanting a KitchenAid mixer for a long time, so I decided to surprise her with one. She has been using it non-stop, and can't stop talking about how much she loves it. I had no idea everything it can do, or all of the attachments that are available. It seems that I ended up getting a gift for myself, in a sense; because my wife hasn't stopped making stuff with it since she got it. It definitely is tough and versatile. I am very happy with this purchase and I am sure we will be adding even more attachments.

If you want to take your baking to the next level, I highly recommend owning an automatic handless mixer. It has made baking so much more enjoyable for me: faster and less tiring. The machine is smooth and very pretty to have on your kitchen countertop. The bowl can hold A LOT! The recipe for 12 cupcakes that i used only filled up the bowl 1/4. Five quarts bowl is more than enough for home use! My only criticism would be: the top of this model does not lift up like the artisan, so sometime it is difficult to pour ingredients neatly into the bowl and the whisk is in the way. Also, must scape the bowl every so often. Otherwise, love this machine!

I lost my original mixer in a house fire. Once my home was rebuilt my Kitchen Aid mixer was one of the first items i wanted to replace.. My husband surprised me with this new mint color mixer that matches my kitchen decor perfectly. I love my mixer for making pizza dough, home made pasta, desserts and soooo much more
