Not only did I make my dough for my dinner rolls on Christmas, I also mashed my potatoes. I am looking forward to exploring the attachment options. I have finally gotten the KitchenAid that I have always wanted!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer is amazing and the color Aqua Sky is to die for! When you invest in a Kitchenaid mixer, you know it will last. It really cuts down on prep time...you can have things mixing and do something else....soooooo much better than a hand mixer! I look forward to all the amazing things that I am going to make with my new mixer :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband purchased this as a replacement upgrade for my first kitchenaid stand mixer that was very old and only a 4 quart. I would never want anything but a kitchenaid mixer! I own only kitchenaid , even my hand mixer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find the bowl very hard to get on and off and the smaller bowl does not have a handle which makes it even harder. The bottom of the bowl still does not mix well. I find with my arthritis it is hard to lift the bowl with handle. I am so sorry I didn't get the basic mixer. I wore my old one out because I bake a lot. I absolutely loved my old one but but so much this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Professional plus model to replace my standard basic model which lasted me over 20 years. It does take some getting used to the new bowl locking mechanism but it is better than the twist on because the twist on was very difficult to remove sometimes. Very happy so far and hope this lasts me another 20years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the mixer but it does have a few quirks or design flaws. The bowl is difficult to latch in place, the flat beater tends to push everything against the side of the bowl so you constantly have to scrape. I wish it had come with a shield so things aren't flying out of the bowl when mixing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to bake cookies at home and i would have to mix the dough by hand, it wasnt an issue until i noticed i had arm pain. I discovered i had a tumor in my bone. It was decided to not remove the tumor and caused me no longer bake. But now, with my.kitchen aid, it does all the work for me. It combines the ingredients and forms the dough without me having to get my hands into the bowl! You have no idea how helpful it is for someone in my.situation. as a home baker, it means the world.

The only thing I'd change about it is I'd like the beater to have some type of silicone or something of the sort to be able to reach all of the bottom and sides of the bowl while mixing so I don't have to stop the machine and use a spatula, other than that, I have no complaints!

I surprised her with the KitchenAid 5 qt. bowl lift stand mixer and she was ecstatic. I know nothing about mixers. Purchased it because it was a KitchenAid mixer and she loves to bake.
