Awesome spiralizer!!

Got this as a Christmas gift from my kids!! We are spiralizing everything, making amazingly healthy side dishes with our meals! It handles even the hardest sweet potatoes with ease. Easy to clean, comes in a great box to keep the parts safe and organized!

Amazing Spiralizer

I've recommended the Kitchenaid Spiralizer attachment to social media and several went out and bought it and feel the same way I do! There is not another spiralizer with the quality and workmanship as Kitchenaid! You can never go wrong with Kitchenaid!

Excellent purchase!

I bought this spiralizer because of the Kitchen Aid brand's reputation, and also for the ease of operation. With a family of 5, the small hand crank spiralizer a weren't an option. We have been extremely happy with this purchase. The kids love for us to peel apples and let them eat the peelings. They say it's better than candy!

Retired Engineer meets the Spiralizer!

I got a Spiralizer attachment as a gift some months ago. I had not used it for concern about it's efficiency and what looked like a long and involved cleanup requirement. It was time for the family Christmas dinner at my house, with Christmas ham and a favorite I like to make: scalloped potatoes. I keep looking for a good way to prepare the potatoes, which for a big group means a lot of peeling and slicing. The Spiralizer was on the shelf of the hutch and still in the box. I wondered if it might work for the scalloped potatoes. I went to the online site and watched the videos that KitchenAid provides. It looked like it would be a good tool for the job. I got the small coring spiral cutter and the peeler out and used then for my trial on a nice Russett baking potato. I was really impressed! (Something not so easy to accomplish with a retired chief engineer!) The setup was very easy and seemed to nearly go together on its own. The actions of peeling and slicing were smooth and consistent. Getting the final product off and removing the peel (one single long thread!) was perfectly simple to do. For use in the recipe, I just mad one lengthwise cut through the spiral to end up with disc shapes. There was a hole in the middle of each disc, but no one even noticed. I took a picture of the machine running about halfway through the first potato and sent it to my daughter- the gift-giver. Also very important for me- the cleanup was less than a minute and easy to do. Really happy with this one, especially my daughter who said I was way overdue for trying it out. Nice job KitchenAid.

Love it!

Usually when I by an attachment for something it ends up requiring lots of time to put together and then clean afterwards. This attachment was awesome! It was very easy to install and the clean up was a breeze. I have used it almost everyday since I bought it.

Extremely Easy to Use

This product is where art meets food. It is very easy to use and clean--plug it into the mixer, select your blade and go. As a bonus, it is more than fascinating to watch, and the food comes out looking beautiful! We've made applesauce (so much easier than my hand-crank peeler/corer), spiral snack veggies (my 4-year old loves the pretty cut carrots) and zucchini noodles--and as you can see in the picture, my 1-year old son even approved. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Practical way to eat healthy

Easy enough to use and makes wonderful spirals with sweet potatoes, white potatoes, zucchini and squash but you must choose the pieces carefully for proper size per the instructions and they cannot be too ripe. If they are too soft, the holder just smashes the end and will not turn the spiral. I now know the secret!!!
