I was excited to get this attachment to use with my stand mixer but it's greatly disappointing to use considering the price and the quality of performance you'd expect from KitchenAid products. The peeler does not work consistently, it doesn't follow the vegetable that you're peeling and winds up not connecting with the vegetable at all (I tried potatoes and sweet potatoes). It did fine with zucchini, but it is difficult to find the perfect fruit or vegetable to use that aligns with the core and the blade. Perhaps my produce was too small, but overall, this was a disappointment to use.

I love making dinner extra fun with spiralized veggies. My mom asked me to get her one for her birthday because she loved mine so much. It is easy to clean, easy to store, and most importantly easy to use. Everything I have made turns out great and if you are looking for a way to make eating veggies fun this is surely it!

I just received my spiralizer yesterday and used it 4 times already. I like the idea a lot! The quality is excellent just like anything from Kitchenaid . I just found it a little limited. I know there is another product which has blades that cuts veggies like ribbon, linguine, spaghetti, fettuccine. I think for this high price those blades should be included, or if they not, at least they should be available for sale.

I just did the Quickstart video and, within five minutes, have a pot of homemade applesauce going on the stove! This is such a user-friendly device! Cleanup is a snap, too! I could not be happier with my new Spiralizer! Where was this 50 years ago when I was first learning to cook?!? It could have saved me weeks of time in the kitchen! I love love LOVE it!!!

I received this as a gift for Christmas from my husband. I first used my spiralizer 2 weeks ago and was absolutely in love with it! I thought it was the greatest gift my husband had ever gotten me. I spiralized everything and anything I could think of and had wonderful results. In its second week of use however, I started to encounter problems. The peeler began to have difficulty peeling simple items such as zucchini and cucumbers. I then began to have difficulty with the mechanism staying on its track and it began to skip. My husband helped remedy this problem by indicating to me if I kept pressure on the black handle of the blade the mechanism would not skip on its track. Now I am experiencing the blade skipping and becoming stuck on the item I am attempting to spiralize, causing the piece the vegetable is pierced with to core through the middle of the vegetable making spiralizing impossible and me incredibly frustrated. Although in love with it at first, I am now contemplating returning my spiralizing attachment since after two weeks of use it is no longer functioning properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am mechanically challenged, yet I mastered the set up of the spiralizer in 5 minutes. I have used two of the spiralizer attachments and accidentally used the slicer attachment. All worked well on zucchini and an English cucumber. I wish I could find more vegetables/fruits to use the spiralizer. They need to be cut to a maximum of 5-3/4". I need to be more creative as it's fun to use. Easy cleanup.

It was wonderful. It is so quick! It will save me a lot of time when apple season comes in, as I make apple sauce and apple butter. I can't wait!
