I have used other spiralizers before. They were all handheld devices. Going through a few zucchinis was extremely exhausting. The kitchaid spiralizermaked it effortless. It's also easier to clean than the handheld. It has some limitations but it is well worth the cost

This was a Christmas gift I really wanted. My family loves zoodles in lieu of pasta. This attachment makes great veggie noodles; however, you need to use really short zucchini. Even small zucchini have to be cut to fit. There is also about an inch of waste that the blade doesn't reach. This attachment works great but a little tweaking could make it better.

Still learning how to use all the attachments and what vegetables will best be suited but so far I have been very pleased so far. I appreciate the sturdiness and ease of use and look forward to many opportunities to take advantage of the various food prep options I now have with this product.

Received this as a gift. I love it. Everything works well except for the original peeler. After one use, it would not click in. Called for a replacement part and received it shortly afterward. The replacement was much better made and works with no problems. Love the way it peels, slices and cores all in one step.

I have always been awful at peeling fruits and veggies. I would always end up nicking my skin, fingers or nails. I just am not good at it and I never wanted to do it. But Now, I have the capabilities to peel, core and slice without any injuries! It works beautifully and probably the best accessory for the Kitchen Aid mixer. My only downfall, you need to cut the end off to get a even peel and if your potatoes is skinner in one spot and bigger in another it will skip over the skinny part. I try to look for potatoes that are all balanced in shape and size. Small potatoes will not work on this either.

This was part of a Christmas gift. We have used it at least 5 times already. Found that smaller veggies don't work so well, I.e. Carrots, small zucchinis, small potatoes. The core is so big and the spirals not able to stay together.great for pealing apples.

My husband bought this for me as a Christmas present this Christmas 2016. We used it to make a Dutch apple pie Christmas day and it was amazing! It took us less than 30 minutes to make the pie and put it in the oven where it used to take 45+ minutes. I have used it several times since and love it each time!

I treated myself to the spiralizer attachment after using a manual spiralizer for the last year. I'm glad I bought it, and it does a great job with zucchini and cucumbers. I especially like the fact that it has a peeler. But it didn't work at all for me on a buttnernut squash. It didn't peel and didn't spiralize. Instead the squash just spun around on the spindle. I will try again, but my initial experience is that it works great with most vegetables but has a tough time with extra hard items like winter squash.

My wife and I recently bought the 5 blade spiralizer attachment and we love it. We try to cook at home as much as possible, especially recipes that include fresh produce. The new attachment makes peeling vegetables simple and with little mess! The spiralizing blades make eating healthy fun, and you won't have to spend lots of extra time doing the prep work. The one drawback is that the instruction guide mentions an "extra fine" blade for spiralizing, but this kit doesn't come with an "extra fine" blade. The smallest blade is the "fine" blade.

This attachment was given as a gift from my inlaws this year. I have lost 42 lbs and have been swapping my food options. Recently I opted to do veggie noodles. This neat little gadget allows me to spiralize zucchini, butternut squash, and so much more. It really takes no time at all.
