I was excited to get this attachment to use with my stand mixer but it's greatly disappointing to use considering the price and the quality of performance you'd expect from KitchenAid products. The peeler does not work consistently, it doesn't follow the vegetable that you're peeling and winds up not connecting with the vegetable at all (I tried potatoes and sweet potatoes). It did fine with zucchini, but it is difficult to find the perfect fruit or vegetable to use that aligns with the core and the blade. Perhaps my produce was too small, but overall, this was a disappointment to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for a Christmas present and l love it. I make apple pie a lot and this makes peeling and slicing the apples easy and fun. The box it comes in is made to conveniently store all of the parts. I am very happy with it.

I think I've spent as much money in potatoes as everyone seems to need to have a go round to see if they can figure this out. The blade doesn't make contact with the sweet potato or potato, depending on user's choice. Of course, everyone has to verify that the blade is right. It was. The holder isn't strong enough to hold the veggie as it just spins. First kitchen aid product I've purchased that I'm not happy with. I gave it five stars for features, the features are great, they just don't work! Guess I'm done you tubing and trouble shooting. It will be returned.

I was so disappointed when I attempted to use my new attachment to peel potatoes for Christmas dinner. The product simply does not work. I read the directions and watched multiple youtube videos to ensure I was using it properly. I hope this issue is fixed in the future.

I love the product, but the skewer to put into the fruit is not strong enough. I now cannot use the whole thing because the skewer is bent and just won't work. I've been trying to get another skewer somehow but can't find it. I need help because I want to use it but I can't!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for several weeks and have used it for vegetables I rarely cooked before, turnips, beets, and other root vegetables. Great for adding variety to my cooking. Sweet potato fries are easy as are apples for cooking. Love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over 2months ago. Had trouble using the peeler with the spiralizer on a sweet potato and butternut squash. Contacted kitchenaid and they sent me a replacement. The peeler worked better but still had trouble spiralizing. No trouble doing zucchini and I tried peeling and slicing an apple and that worked great. It is an expensive tool if I can only do zucchini and apples!

I received this as a Christmas gift and couldn't wait to try it out. I tried beets first- the peeler attachment didn't reach all the way to the beets and it only spiralized about half the beet before the blade was at the end of the rod. I double checked the directions and watched the online videos to make sure I was using it correctly and tried again. Butternut squash and zucchini just ended up with holes in the back and would not spin. I ended up manually turning them against the blade to get my spirals. Way too much work for what I ended up with. Back to my cheap plastic manual spiralizer.
