It's very efficient and looks great on the countertop. I can finally toast bread for my husband and I so we can have breakfast at the same time. I love the little chime it has so you know when your toast is ready.

Since then each use on each side was perfectly toasted. Still early for durability assessment, but I like the results so far. Have not used to toast bagels or frozen items, or to reheat something previously toasted. I would recommend this toaster to anyone looking for a side by side 4 slice toaster. Happy toasting!

The KitchenAid Toaster toasts just right: No burning and I especially appreciate the "beeper" that let's us know the toast is ready--that's a great feature. Glad I bought a KitchenAid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased, went with the 4-slice over the 2-slice, no particular reason. Looks really nice on our counter, it is a little on the bigger side, probably would should go with the 2-slice if you're space limited. The construction is nice and we like the styling, The only gripes I have is that the lever to push the bread down seems a little flimsy or like it could break if pushed too hard. I don't push it down with much force, so I think it'll be fine. The other is that if you turn the setting past 2 you're likely going to burn whatever you're toasting. Overall though, the toaster looks great and matches the appliances in our kitchen and we're happy with our purchase.

He likes his toast dark, and I like mine light, and we each have our side. Bagels toast like a dream (and has it's own setting). One of our friends is doing Airbnb rentals and is going to get them for her units. So attractive and does it's job so well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 2 slice toaster with this KitchenAid 4 slice. Likedt he look of this one best compared to other top brands. The only "issues" so far are that the levers need to be pushed down firmly to engage and stay down. No "click" into place. The spring that pushes the toast/bagel up doesn't push up firmly and you need to push the lever up manually to retrieve smaller items. It's like the weight of the item keeps it down a little. Best to use tongs, also, since they're hot. The rear crumb trays has a good edge to collect crumbs with no mess. All in all we are happy with it.

My hubby and I each have our own settings that we don't ever need to reset. Bagel setting works perfectly...toasted on the inside and heated on the outside. The manual lift works easily for those small english muffins! No complaints...just perfect toast every morning! Highly recommend!!
