I have only used my Cuisinart Stainless Steel Can Opener a few times but already know I made a great purchase! It’s attractive (for a small appliance lol), it cuts completely and cleanly, it does hold the can and stops when finished, its sturdy, it doesn’t wobble with a heavy can, and it’s a very well made can opener. I can’t imagine anyone would regret this purchase. I know I don’t!

This was a replacement after buying two defective openers. This one is better, but not great! It wobbles when opening large cabs like a tin of tomatoes. It grabs the label at times on the big cabs, then stalls! Sorry Cuisinart, but you need to do better than this!

Purchased this can opener because of its height to enable opening of large cans. Three occasions now, opening standard sized cans it drops the can and contents all of when using the touchless feature. When using the feature, I would urge extreme caution. It appears that the magnet used to hold the can and the bracket that holds the can do not work in conjunction with each other.

This is our 2nd identical unit. The first lasted 10 years, which is really not very long considering we only use it about once a week, BUT...it is a nice looking piece and fairly well built, plus it works on tall cans and looks great with all our stainless appliances. It is priced on the high side. The failure was poor design attaching the feeding cog wheel to the shaft. It still ran fine, but due to that poor attachment, it would no longer turn the cans. Since we were used to this unit and liked how it looks, we went ahead and paid the high price for what we consider marginal quality...

This is my second opener of this model. The first one stopped working after about ten years. I bought another like it because it was so easy to use. The only problem with this second one is the handle comes off in my hand every time I use it. The older one never did this.

I purchased this can opener thinking it would be easier to use versus the hand held can opener and was i wrong. This can opener continues to stop midway through process of opening the can, not cutting through the can properly, like its a motor issue or something. Not at all what i was expecting for such a high quality brand.

This automatic can opener is a keeper. It is sturdy, quiet and efficient. Once you click a can into place under the blade and attached to the magnet it is quick to do the job. You do not have to hold it down to operate the cutter. i do usually keep a hand close to the can, but its not really necessary until you are ready to disengage it. If you have arthritis in your fingers, you will love this can opener.

I had to return this can opener. After working a few times, it started to only cut sporadically around the top, leaving me to use a hand crank opener to finish the job. It also cut narrow ribbons of curled metal that fell into the food in the can. Something was very wrong with it. I ended up buy one that cuts under the top lip and leaves no sharp edges. Think twice before buying this product.

This Cuisinart electric opener is super easy to get the can onto and off. Wish I would have bought it sooner!

This stainless steel can opener is great! All you have to do is line up your can with the bottom guiding post, and it attaches immediately. Other can openers have always had some sort of issue latching onto the can. This is the first one that I've used that functions extremely well with no hassle!
