This replaced an age old white can opener with the same features, only because the white one had yellowed over time. I imagine this one will last forever. Because many more cans have pull tops now. When you need it, it does the job.

I have had this Cuisinart for a couple of months. The cutter park comes loose regularly which prevents it from operating correctly. This can opener is poorly designed and I would recommend purchasing something else.

The greatest thing about this can opener is that it is a work of art! It looks great, it works great and is an appliance you don't mind leaving on the counter.

We bought unit to replace an inexpensive unit that was difficult to use. This unit was literally twice the cost and is very well built with metal vs plastic. Unfortunately, performance does not match the rugged build.

I’ve only had it since December and it already is working sporadically! In the beginning, no problem attaching, now it is hard to get it to cut the can all the way thru!
