[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jerky was awesome! Unlike other brands jerky can't tend to be tough or dry out after it's been opened. The taste is amazing. It is obvious the meat is a high quality & has been well cared for throughout the drying process.

Most of beef jerkies are dry and tough to bite into for me but this Archer is not the kind! So tender! Plus we feel comfortable about that this is made with 100 % grass fed beef. He eats jerky all the time and I eat it very rarely but we both found this jerky to be soft, not chewy like some jerky is and it had a very meaty flavor without being to overly flavored with spices. We will be buying this jerky again.

I've eaten other brands that, in my opinion, had better flavor. But the Country Archer brand is a much healthier option.

My daughter, grand daughter and myself got the black bag of the Country Archer Original Beef Jerky. We sampled it on the way back home and it was delicious. I normally have a hard time with jerky since the other brands I've tried have been tough and dry and they hurt to eat. But this jerky is so perfect! I'm still eating my first bag and already added more to my next shopping list. It makes such an easy snack for me with taking care of my newborn. Way beyond amazed with this jerky.

The texture is enjoyable as you don't have to struggle trying to chew stale textured meat- this brand is wonderfully soft. However, the flavor is what turned me off. I was hoping to find a jerky that had little to no sugar in it since I don't really like meat that tastes sweet, but this was probably the sweetest jerky I've tasted. Disappointing, but the overall flavor, despite the sweetness, was not too bad. You can tell it's quality.

It's also high in protein and low in sodium and sugar. It doesn't contain any hormones, antibiotics, or nitrates. But what I love most is that it's so tasty.

Overall I really enjoyed these as they were more tender and not as dry as other beef jerkys. The only thing is that although the beef is less dry, it has a moist feeling which may be off putting to some people and doesn't provide as smoky of a flavor.
