Not only is it delicious, but it does have any preservatives, nitrates or nitrites...and it doesn't need them! Once a bag is opened in my house, it never lasts very long! It is a favorite snack in my household, for sure! Would highly recommend! Get rid of those other brands and discover what real jerky should taste like!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Country Archer Original Beef Jerky and it was delicious. I like that it is made with 100% grass-fed beef and antibiotic-free turkey. The taste is great and rich. I can easily have this as a snack in between meals to help keep me from eating chips or other unhealthy snacks. This is perfect for when I go for hikes or walks. I can easily put a few in my bag to eat if I need something. The meat is a little moistened but I do like this version and is tasty for me.

Grass fed and finished beef tastes better. Give it a try if you want to satisfy your jerky craving and don't want the junk that is in most others.

It was a but mushy and not what i would traditionally expect jerky to e. I toyed the original flavoured jerky, but it didn't have any distinctive taste other that salty.

It doesn't feel like chewing leather like other brands, but it is not too soft either. All in all, a great balance of texture and flavor. We also did see the turkey jerky and my husband purchased it and loved it. Both were very flavorful, great texture, great aftertaste!
