[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very very good jerky. Soft, good flavor (though my mother thought it was a bit heavy with the onion), and a nice sized package. I DO think it is horrendously expensive, but then I think that about all jerky now (seriously, when did dried meat become a luxury good?). It is slightly cheaper than competitors, which means (along with the excellent flavor) I am more likely to grab a bag of it on rare occasions when I can justify spending that kind of money on a snack.

This jerky is free from preservatives and many other harmful chemicals that people should be watching out for. It is 100% grass-fed beef, which makes a difference in flavor. It tastes more fresh, and it's good to know that nothing bad is going in your body. This is a great snack, and is easy to transport. Love this product!

Also, I wish the packaging were more sustainable (recyclable, compostable, or reusable). Finally, larger containers would be preferable to reduce packaging waste.

For my family it is a tender meat and a great snack and healthy too. From the name and way the company treats the animals you can be reassured it is a healthy snack and grass feed stock. We tried the Beef Jerky original an it was great flavor and all my kids liked it. I felt good giving it to them. The only reason I don't give it five stars is the package does not contain a lot of product so it goes fast.
