It had a bit of a nutty fresh, so fresh flavor and could tell it was not full of preservatives and all the other unnecessary stuff and I found it at my local Albertson's. We will buy this in the future to take on our trail hikes. I like the "tender" jerky and a lot of the pieces are tender but not as many as I'd like. That said, the 5 star review is for the flavor! I can abide some chewier jerky for the amazing flavor this stuff has! So tasty, soft and easy to chew. The slices are thick and chewy and are well seasoned. The closest thing to melt in your mouth jerky there could ever be and the best flavor I've tried. I love the fact its made with 100% grass-fed beef and antibiotic-free turkey. Its also free from MSG, nitrates, nitrites and preservatives and has good amount of quality protein. My new favorite beef jerky!
