We especially like that it was delicious, organic, grass fed, and used natural ingredients like ginger and pineapple juice to flavor it instead of artificial stuff. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sampled the original Country Archer Jerky and it was a very natural, minimally processed jerky. It was extremely tender and easy to bite. The jerky came in large chunks and each piece had a fantastic flavor. Some bites were a little too strong in flavor, but the flavor it's self was great so it wasn't a big issue. I can't wait to try the turkey variety as well.

I used to eat slim jims all the time when I was younger, not having a clue of what was in them. I really enjoyed knowing exactly what was in these and that it was healthy. The only thing I didn't really like about this product was the texture. It was softer than I expect jerky to be. Besides that, I enjoyed the taste and the products it was made with.

The teriyaki flavor was spot on, couldn't ask for a better flavor. Loved the protein content and the fact that it was 100% natural, antibiotic and hormone free.

I have told everyone that I know that likes jerky to go out and buy. Country Archer original beef jerky was so so tender and had the exact spices needed. I have already bought 6 more bags 2 of each flavor that was at the store. I really liked the spices, the flavor, and I especially liked that it was not hard and tough but tender and easy to eat. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging for the beef jerky is very attractive. I really like the pictures, the color, and the design of the packaging. The jerky does come at a high price point for the amount given in a bag. My first impression is that the jerky is very salty to me. It is so salty that I cannot taste any other flavor at all. I cannot even focus on the texture of the beef jerky or the quality of the meat. The texture of the jerky is quite soft, which is great, because I do not like jerky that is super hard to chew. I do like the clean ingredients that the company claims. It is very impressed. I think it would be a good snack when you crave for something very salty. It would also be a good portion control too. It would be better if they come with a bigger size or lower price point. I would consider trying other flavors or jerky such as Turkey Jerky.
