The only drawback is that even the original flavor is a little to sweet for my taste. I love that the jerky is made from grass fed beef, as nature intended.

The fact that it is made from grass-fed beef and free of preservatives is a big appeal and I'd definitely be interested in trying this one (and the turkey variety) in the near future!

It's also great knowing the quality of the meat that goes into making it. I actually own my dehydrator, but sometimes it's just easier to pick up a bag of jerky without having to wait the 8+ hours to dehydrate my own.

Country Archer jerky is soft and flavorful and has the perfect amount of spice. My entire family finds the flavor just right.. not too overpowering and easy to chew with perfect consistency!! YUMMY! This jerky has a great texture, great flavor, great size and its not overly chewy because its to dehydrated. Great for snacking or gifting. Great all year around. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yummy jerky, well spiced. Not too hot and not too sweet, just right. Small pieces that are good for munching, and the portion size is more like a snack than anything, but this is mostly what those are used for here, so this works. I might try their other flavors, though probably not any sweet ones as this is sweet enough for me (not too much, just right). Some of the pieces are so small they are a bit like crumbs, which is why I took one point off.
