The texture is not as tough as most brands where you get lockjaw after 1 piece. Awesomely seasoned and flavor punched. Tender enough for my 6 year old to eat safely. It's the prefect blend of spices not too salty , not too sweet and the texture is perfect. This is a great on the go snack or even probably something to grab post work out. At 11 grams of protein and only 5 grams of sugar per serving it is a great snack for those looking for something to satisfy those salty cravings in a "healthier" way.

I could probably eat the whole bag in one sitting so that was the only real downside. My husband and are keto so we love having a great jerky to keep around as an easy after work snack.

If you've never tried Country Archer, this is some pretty good jerky! The jerky tastes great and is easy to chew. My major concern whenever I buy jerky is that it will be too hard to chew, but I didn't have any of these problems with Country Archer. If I did have any complaints it's that there's not a lot of jerky in the bag. Since I shared the bag with my husband, both of us were only able to eat a few handfuls. I would buy Country Archer jerky more often, if it wasn't so darn expensive. Honestly, if I didn't have the coupon, I probably wouldn't have bought Country Archer jerky, or jerky in general, just because it's so darn expensive! But, if you've got a hankering for jerky, I would highly recommend this product!
