Do not purchase!

I purchased my original speaker which would not power on after 12 hours of charging. Sam's exchanged the speaker with a new one. After 24 hours of charging, the speaker would not power on. I contacted Monster's customer support line. They informed me that there are major issues with the Rove 2 speaker batteries. The representative recommended that I return the speaker for a refund.

Don't Buy!!!

Purchased this online. When it arrived I read all the instructions and charged it as specified to full charge. Took about 24 hours to obtain the full charge. Connected by Bluetooth to my phone with no issues. It sounded great. Excited to use it at outdoor gatherings. Turned it off and stored it on the top shelf of my home closet. Didn't use it for 3 months. Tried to turn it on and the battery was dead. Tried to recharge the battery and it would not hold a charge. It is now out of warranty. Should have taken the advise of other reviewers and heeded their advice and not purchased, many with the same problem.....Don't Buy!!!

High hopes for nothing

Right out if the box, plugged it in, one led light comes on and blinks like it is charging, charged for six hours+, and absolutely nothing works. Acts like there is no power. Tried a different power cable and power supply, same thing. DOA. Going back to Sams Club tomorrow!

Will not hold charge

Like every other review this will not hold charge. I charged it for over 6 hours out of box and played no more than 2 hours. Returning it and buying something with better reviews. Sams club needs to vet their products better and should pull these from the shelves. Sams Club should pull these from the shelves so it's customers avoid poor product experiences.

Nice Speaker

This speaker has a great sound! The bass is pretty impressive for it's size. I use it when working in the yard and it can be heard clearly from pretty far away. It syncs well to my iPhone. The volume can be controlled by the phone or speaker. I've even used it for parties.

Will Not Hold a Charge

Bought two for gifts and neither one will hold a charge. Just like other reviews are saying, will not turn on even after charging overnight (well over the 6 hours that should be required). Powers on and immediately turns off. Returning both. Sam's should discontinue carrying this product! I am not interested in calling customer support on a brand new item. Would rather buy one that works and does not need support from Day 1.

dont buy this bluetooh speaker

open box turned on but no battery charge.charge for 30 min then i started useing.sound good .bluetooh is exellent. but battery life is very poor.i charge the battery for all day at night i try to use it after 30 min its says plug the devise battery getting low. manufacture says it hold charge for 10 hr.but seems not even 30 min.samsclub do not sell this type of items.

Dead on Arrival

Upon arrival, unit would not charge. Attempted to charge 6 hours, then 14 hours. Lights blinked when charger was plugged in, but unit was totally dead when charger cord was removed. Called the Monster support phone number and it was no longer in service. Very disappointed. I wish I read the reviews before ordering!

Did not work

Worked until battery was discharged and then would not recharge. Took it back for a full refund.
