I bought this speaker over a year ago. It has been a GREAT for the money! We use it camping, on the boat, on the beach, by the pool, and anywhere else. The battery life is GREAT! We can easily get over multiple uses in between charges! I'm thinking about buying another speaker to pair together by our new pool!

We bought this speaker this summer. It's been fantastic! Sound quality is great. Bluetooth with your phone easily. Has microphone and Karoake capabilities. We used at my grandfather's memorial for both music and microphone speaking and it was phenomenal. My only issue is the claims of 100 hours of non charging play. We can go several hours but not 100 hours for sure. It's still hands down one of my favorite purchases!

After reviewing multiple speakers I decided to go with the ION Explorer Outback, and it was a great decision. The battery life is awesome, speaker is loud, included microphone is fun for the kids, great for parties, outdoor events, and just around the house. I would recommend this speaker to anyone. Very easy to setup to blue tooth and program radio stations.

I bought this because of its portability and recharging capabilities. It feels very durable, which I need. My 2 1/2 year old grandson had a blast with the mic. Like everyone else said the sound quality is great. I listen to an variety of music. Kane Brown, CCR, to some DJ Quick and Too Short. They all sound good, with an appreciated level of bass.

I did a lot of homework and selected this item for the FM, the extended battery life and the waterproofing. It gets very loud and it sounds better than expected, even as it approaches max volume. I am planning to get 2 or 3 more and spread them around my pool area, I use the C.Crane FM transmitter to get the audio to the speaker. My initial testing with the FM transmitter worked perfectly and I'm confident it will provide synched wireless audio to as many of these units as I want to use. I'm highly satisfied and planning to buy at least 2 more of these.

I bought this three months ago. It worked great for awhile and then the battery life dissipated quickly. I can charge it and they next day it will die. I used it recently and it had three bars on the battery indicator. It didn’t even finish playing one song before it just died. Taking it back. Maybe it’s a bad batch of batteries. Plus - sound is good.

If you are looking for a blue tooth speaker with great sound this is it. I tried 3 different speakers and only the Ion met with my approval. The only thing is it doesn't come with USB playback or SD card reader and no remote. I traded that for excellent sound.

I've only used this one time so far at work. It is nice and loud, and the Bluetooth is a must! I don't care about plug-ins or ports, but this has them too... The lights are cool and can be changed to 3 different settings. Everyone at the GM plant on my team commented how loud it is and how good the sound is. I think a couple of them want one too. Waterproof feature is awesome for the beach, hot tub etc. I think the price is fair too. I give it 5 stars for sound and features.

My husband bought one because he loves all things bluetooth and LED. Turns out the speaker works really well. We've never had any trouble connecting a device to it. Used a tablet and streamed youtube videos for karaoke! His daughter was so impressed when we used it at our wedding that we bought her and her husband one as a wedding gift- and they used it that night!

Like title says the first one didn't work, petty much in any capacity. No idea what was wrong, checked fuses, plugged, unplugged, everything. Took it back a day later, got a new one, and not a single issue since. Love the sound quality, easy setup, and just really good features.
