My boys all use wax based hair products and gels and this shampoo and conditioner combo does a great job at removing their hair products. It leaves their hair soft and clean. I can run my hand thru their hair without tugging and pulling. The scent is fresh yet long lasting. I have 2 boys and they love that they can use the same product as their step dad. It lathers great and not much product is needed for full results. It doesn't seem to dry their hair but still manages to get a clean and deep cleanse of their scalp. I actually tried this on my hair when I ran out of my shampoo and conditioner and was in a time crunch. It wasn’t bad at all. I really like dove anyway so I thought why not. It smells very clean and fresh, a bit on the masculine side obviously. I would recommend.

I have long black hair and it usually gets dry quick because of the Miami humidity. It compares better than most of the other shampoos I've tried before and I would definitely buy this shampoo again.

My husband recently purchased a bottle of Dove Men+Care Fresh & Clean Fortifying 2-in-1 Shampoo + Conditioner and he is a fan! I love that this will actually get him to use conditioner and he loves that he only has to go through the trouble of using one bottle. He made the switch to this 2-in-1 product after I complained that his hair always felt brittle after only using shampoo. He and I were both pleased with how nice his hair felt after using this shampoo + conditioner, and his hair smells great!
