It has a clean, fresh scent and leaves his hair feeling soft while still doing a good job of cleaning. It lathers well and rinses out easily, which makes it convenient for everyday use. That said, because he works a very greasy, hands-on job, sometimes he prefers a harsher or deeper-cleaning shampoo to really cut through the oil and buildup. When I used this I was surprised by how foamy the shampoo got but also how I could feel the smoothness of the conditioner as I rinsed the product out. It did an amazing job.
