My boyfriend has tried this and though he loves dove men's products, usually. He didn't care for this one too much! I think it left a weird residue in his hair but it wasn't to noticable to others, but for me since i rub my fingers through his hair, was noticable. Also, he recently saw that there are some ingredients that aren't good for your hair. So, were in the process of switching to a new shampoo and conditioner.

I've used a number of other products from them, including a hair sculpting paste, and it lives up to the expectations that I have of the brand. I didn't like the smell of the Shampoo + Conditioner as much as some of the other products which is what made me only give 4*.

I thought that the packaging of the product was very streamlined and over all did a great job of cleansing and conditioning my husbands auburn and straight hair. I would definitely recommend this product.

One thing to note is that this product does say it does have conditioner in it but I would use a stand alone conditioner since it really doesn't feel like it has enough conditioner in my opinion. I use product daily so when I switched to this I had a TON of buildup and scaling. Not good. As much as loved the scent. This was a pass for me.
