In my opinion it is just a shampoo and I did not experience any conditioning effects. I am a fan of dove products and this one didn't let me down. The reason that I gave it only three stars is really the fact that it claimed to have conditioning properties but it didn't for me. Would recommend this to friends. My boyfriend uses this and it smells amazing. It great for overall cleaning and leaves you feeling refreshed and clean. This is the body wash he uses. He will continue using this one and will not be changing anytime in the near future. Great product.

But My boys are hooked on this now it is perfect for the lazy teens I have because it's quick. Plus they like how it smells and it's not an annoying fragrance scent like other products can. This is on my grocery list permanently with 4 male boys in the house ranging from 13-21 . I can count on this to keep them smelling huggable and cuddly if they let me. Lol

Though it may seem kind of thin, the shampoo and conditioner combination worked great. I would definitely purchase it in the very near future. You won't be disappointed.

He is 12 and a typical boy (must use all force and everything in my arsenal to get the kid to shower). It leaves his hair nice and clean without drying it out. I got this product for free to test but have since bought it a few times.

He has used the same shampoo since before we met 14 years ago. So I wasent sure if he was going to try it a bit he did . The morning he used it for the first time I was sleeping and he was getting ready for work. He had the bathroom door open when he was showering . And no lie the smell of the shampoo woke me up out of my sleep. I was like “who’s there” smelled like a sexy man . Lol he’s been using it for about a month now and no complaints. Which I found shocking. He also likes the smell and says it leaves his hair really soft. He usually dosent use shampoos with perfumes because he says they make his scalp itch but he said that didn’t happen with this one. So he has now switched over .

It took him a little while to get used to the tingling feeling from the menthol, but he loved how clean it made him feel. He works at a poultry farm so he comes home smelling fierce, but after using this shampoo + conditioner he smelled great for the rest of the day/night!
