My boyfriend has tried this and though he loves dove men's products, usually. He didn't care for this one too much! I think it left a weird residue in his hair but it wasn't to noticable to others, but for me since i rub my fingers through his hair, was noticable. Also, he recently saw that there are some ingredients that aren't good for your hair. So, were in the process of switching to a new shampoo and conditioner.

I love how clean this makes my hair feel and that it doesn't make my hair smell like I dumped a ton of heavy smelling soap in it. Would recommend this to any guy who's looking for an affordable staple in their shower.

This is the only wash my husband will use. We buy this time and time again when he runs out. He was always a bar of soap type of guy that didn’t care about shampooing let alone conditioning his hair, but this good smelling dove soap has won him over and that tells a lot about the product!

Dove I like this ,I have very long hair ,this fresh scent,is great lathering,highly effective on cleaning,,but not effective for conditioning SORRY . It's a great value though, packaging is just a bottle, I don't know the ingredients. I recommend- But get you a conditioner this didn't work on my long hair I recommend on cleaning.

As a woman writing this review, and I lowkey love this shampoo. It is like minty on your scalp. My boyfriend uses this shampoo and sometimes I end up having to use it, and it’s a two in one and it actually conditions. Not as well as I’d hope, but good enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i haven’t used “non professional” haircare products for years & this actually worked great! i have coarse hair that’s chemically processed with permanent hair color so it can get pretty dry & frizzy but this makes my hair feel soft, hydrated, & gives a shine! huge plus that it’s easy to style once dry .

My hair is very prone to breakage and split ends, and without a nice rich conditioner, My hair will fuzz right up! Initially, I was skeptical. The first wash left my hair pretty dry, which I wasn't surprised about. Where this product redeems is when I do not wash my hair every day. As the days went on, my hair absorbed the oil while remain light and not greasy. Bottom line, would I still use this product? No, but not because it is a bad product, just because it didn't work for me.

He and I agree that we would purchase this product again when it is finished. I have not tried it on my own hair, but I am sure, as my hair is long, that I would need an additional conditioner.
