I have bought this several times. This last package was truly bad. The dried fruits are hard, the coconut blocks could break your teeth, the walnuts taste of plastic and the bananna chips are cardboard. Just awful. Quality has gone way down.

In the review that I posted a couple of days ago, I stated that there are NO mangoes in the mix, which is incorrect. There ARE mangoes, however they don't predominate over the papaya and pineapple pieces, and while I generally don't care for mangoes, they blend in nicely in this mix.

We like this product, but apparently Sam's doesn't want to stock this in our local store anymore (like soooo many other products that have disappeared) and yet they are still available at some other locations. Sam's really needs to look at the algorithms they use to determine which products the stock in which stores. Product after product goes missing from Ocala store yet still sold in Gainesville, or Orlando, or Tampa. What, is Ocala the unwanted child of Sam's stores and we only get the hand me downs?

We just opened the bag of trail mix that has an expiration date in 2024. However, the nuts are soft and taste old. The cashews are supposed to be roasted and salted but all the nuts seem raw and soft. I do not recommend this product. While the variety of fruits and nuts is wonderful, the taste and texture is not. Very disappointing.

0 stars! INEDIBLE. The coconut cubes were so hard I hurt my gums & teeth. Every item in the bag is HARD, except for the cherries & the cashews which are very soft (old cashews get soft like this). I checked the entire bag & everything that's supposed to be on it, is, EXCEPT for the year on the expiration date. I could be wrong but, given the texture of the items in the bag, I feel like I was given an expired batch. It says the item is not available for return.

I just finished my first bag and I can order another quick enough. Wish they had this in our store. Fruit my be kind of sweet for some but I just combine the fruit with a banana chip, coconut or nut to balance things out. I don’t know how good this stuff really is because of the fried banana chips but it has to be better than candy or chocolate based trail mix if eaten in reasonable proportion. Now that’s the real problem with anything bulk like this that tastes great…..

This is a good trail mix overall. The only complaint I have is the coconut is very hard to chew through and does not have much flavor. I pick it out because it is that bad. Everything else in the mix is actually pretty good. I add almonds to the mix. Pretty good buy for the money.

I've purchased this multiple times - However, I only eat the pineapple and papaya. The pineapple is wonderful. The kiwi is HORRIBLE and somehow is that majority of the bag. The coconut pieces are very hard and difficult to chew. I waste more than I actually eat. If there was an option to just purchase dried pineapple, that is what I would do.
