No longer the sturdy construction it was. Much thinner. I see no information on the foil thickness. I understand the cost of aluminum has gone up, but please do not skimp on the quality of this foil. I rather pay more for useable quality of foil, versus this thin stuff that tears so easily.

I've used the foil in the old package almost daily for years. Just ran out of my old stock and opened this up. HUGE disappointment. This is like "regular" foil, not even CLOSE to the old "heavy duty" stuff. Returning this. Will have to try Costco, as this is just too thin.

We used tons of this foil for our BBQ Team. During our Labor Day Cook this last weekend, we purchased this foil and noticed the new "packaging". The packaging is not the only change! It is so much thinner. It feels like Christmas Foil Wrapping Paper. We used only what we had to purchase and took the others back. Had to make a trip to Costco and that did not make me happy as I have our BBQ Account setup thru Sam's and do most of my purchases thru them. We have a huge BBQ Contest/Event coming up this month and am panicking trying to locate another vendor in Paducah, KY to take up the slack since I will NOT be ordering this foil from Sam's Club this year. An Extremely disappointed customer. :o(

Been using the Sams HD foil for many years an awesome products. I buy several rolls at a time. We are a BBQ competition and catering team bought it the last time and noticed a packaging change not a big deal until you actually use the foil it is junk it is brittle feeling doesn't hold together well. Just an all around poor quality foil. Highly disappointed in this. Reading some of the past reviews and noticed the same issues. Like a Christmas paper. I will be searching elsewhere for good foil.

I've been buying this heavy duty foil for years, but will no longer be buying it, and honestly, will probably not be renewing my Sam's Club membership. This foil used to be nice and heavy duty, but now the price has gone up nearly $10, and they have severely reduced the quality of this foil to the point it's not even worth buying anymore. It tears very easily now, might as well just buy the normal duty foil, there is NOTHING heavy duty about this garbage. They are doing the same thing too many companies are doing, and lowering quality while increasing price.

I line my baking/roasting pans with this heavy foil because it's wide enough to cover my 18x13 baking pan and when done baking, I just toss the used foil in the trash and put the pan in the drawer. When roasting, I line the pan with foil and Members Mark parchment paper because the metal rack sometimes tears the foil.

I also agree with the previous reviewer, this foil used to be top of the line. I noticed the price didn't change but it seems to be much thinner. It rips much easier which is not a good thing in the catering business. You have to be careful where you use this so you don't spill items or rip them open inadvertently.

I use a lot of aluminum foil, so we have been buying this box of foil for a long time. This box is not the same or heavy duty. Not sure if this is a new manufacturer or what, but this is disappointing. We use this all the time for our smoker and sandwiches.

So I BBQ a lot! I have always used this aluminum foil for wrapping my meats on the smoker. This last box I got the foil felt strange. I couldn’t get it too form around the meat, it’s like I was using hard paper! It’s hard to explained. Either I got a bad roll or something was left out when making it, or because of costs they are using something cheaper but I don’t know! I really hope it was just a messed up roll!

This was NOT "heavy duty" thickness. I've been buying this product for many years but the last roll I purchased had the thickness of roll from the dollar store. I use a lot of foil for my BBQ business and having foil that tears easily is not useful. Please Sam's Club return to your previous quality.
