Deadly almonds do not buy

These almonds are! hard and dry. I ate a few when I first got them and had a little chocking while eating them. I feed my brothers animals, last weekend. while he was out of town, and I ate his almonds with out any problems. (Not from Sam's). Had a had a couple almonds from my Sam's Member’s Mark this morning. The almonds almost Killed me. Had son call 911 ambulance and fire dept on way before I could breath again. I couldn't talk on the phone lucky my son was here. I have eaten several bags of these almonds, from Sam's, over the years and had no problems. These, this lot, are deadly and if Sam's doesn't want a major law suite because they killed someone I would advise them to pull these almonds off the shelf and recall them. There is something wrong with them.

Throughly enjoyed it but will wait for organic.

I purchased it only once and finished eating it this morning. But after reading some articles about almond farming, 100% produced here in California (correct me if I am wrong), I've decided not to purchase this particular product any more till Member's Mark introduces organic almonds, like the Member's Mark Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed this product, without knowing the health concerns and environmental impact - contaminating out own water supply. But now that I know what I know, I just have to wait for organic almonds. Yes, it'll be more expensive, but I no longer wish to eat almonds that was produced using glyphosate, one of the most widely used pesticides.

Bad quality

Some almonds have holes like eaten by worms.

Not so good

These almonds were shriveled and I had to throw many away. For the most part, they tasted fine.

Stale Almonds

Bought these almonds and they are stale. Probably why they are on sale. Recommend you do not buy. Waste of money

Soggy

These almonds were soggy and not good. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch. But they were gross. I did a return and will stick with name brand

Flavorless

These almonds have no flavor. As I have found with other nuts, in particular, going with name brands, even at higher prices, makes a big difference in quality.
