I believe this is lab grown chicken meat. When I opened the can, it felt a bit slimy, And it falls completely apart in your hands. I have older cans of the chicken meat, the cans are fuller, The meat feels real, does not shred upon touching it. I’ve handled a lot of chicken, this is yuck! I bought several pkgs of the, but I’m feeding it to the neighborhood feral cats. They’re not as fussy as myself. Look up how they make “lab meat”. It isn’t pretty, or appetizing. Thanks, but no thanks.

I'm using these for weight-loss portion-control. I bought 5, 6-packs and so far 2 cans were half-full of chicken & water. I will be using my kitchen-scale to weigh the last 2, 6-packs before opening them to return. At first I thought it was a fluke with the first half-can, then the second one showed up. I'm still going to buy more for my diet, but it's kind-of a pain to have to do my own Quality Control...

I love this chicken especially because it doesnt have all the extra junk in the can, just chicken, water, and salt thats all the preservative you need it is so good!! When I dont feel like cleaning chicken i just use this for fried rice, stir fry noodles, even made chicken noodle soup with it, but let me tell you if you just put a little kerri gold butter, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion (fresh or powder) and sautee it it's so good i can eat a bowl of it, lol, I will be stocking up instead of buying one set you really should get a month supply!

Have purchased several sets of this product...consistently fine. The quality is just excellent if a tad salty. Recommend pour off the liquid and use it in something else later. The chicken pieces are firm and nicely sized...not flakey. Notice the ingredients are simply chicken, water, salt. Highly recommend this product. A pantry mainstay.

Okay . 12 and a half ounces of chicken for about 2 bucks . That's the cost breakdown. But I did a little weighing. There's 5 1/2 ounces of water... almost half of this can is water weight ... 7.5 ounces of chicken is all you get . So now , price per pound is more like $ 4.50 .. The chicken itself is pretty good tasting. I mixed it in with mayo so can't say 100% on quality but just be aware that your paying for water .

the taste and texture reminds me of chuck white tuna (not a negative comment, just an observation)...so much so I checked the label to make sure I didn't open a can of Star-Kist by mistake, Why is there SO MUCH broth in the can? Must be 33% liquid, down the drain.

Best tasting canned chicken Brest you can get. It makes the best chicken salad. I’ve Ben using it for several months. I really enjoy it. And the price is really good. You can’t get 12.5 oz cans of chicken breast that cheap any where else.ill buy it agin.

We buy this fairly often. Have used it in soups, ramen, chicken salad sandwiches, quesadillas and a lot more. One can feeds at least 2 of use depending on how we use it. Has great flavor. Nice sized chunks of chicken. We always to try to keep some on hand in case we want to make a quick meal or snack.

Don’t know why people are commenting on the quality of this product. I’ve used it for years and the only thing that has changed is the can appearance and price! Otherwise the same. I use it in a lot in recipes substituting it in place of beef or pork. It’s great for chicken salad also. Enjoy!
