Higher quality and better taste than the others!

We love this canned chicken breast. It is of a higher quality and it doesn't taste like "canned" meats normally do. Whip up a quick chicken salad in no time!

Very Tasty

This store brand chicken product is Excellent. Goes with a multitude of foods and salads, hot or cold, and even by itself with crackers or not. And for the most part, pretty healthy

False advertising

The 12.5oz includes the water! Drain and weigh... it's about 7oz of chicken... which equals roughly 40g of protein for the entire can... nowhere near the 19g x 4 servings it says on the nutritional label.

Less chicken

What's going on with the can chicken, it used to have more chicken in it now it's more water. I have been buying this chicken for years. It is no longer 12 oz of meat, more like eight. Very disappointed will not be buying again.

Damaged delivery

Sams shipping department really needs to improve their delivery practices. They pack merchandise with absolutely NO packing material. Items regularly arrive damaged. Unacceptable.

i can’t believe the price has doubled

I loved this to make chicken salad sandwiches but the price has doubled. It’s not worth that much I guess I’ll be buying rotisserie chickens from now on.

Good Quality .... but Lots of Water => Costly

Quality - Chunk white, minimal tough ligament => Good quality Water - 1st can, 49% water, can drained and allowed to drip upside down for a minute - 2nd can, 42% water As a comparison with hamburger, I typically measure 33 to 44% loss marked 80 to 93% lean after overcooking to dryness and removing as much fat as possible. So this canned chicken has considerably more water than anticipated and hence the downrating.

Sams Canned Chunk Chicken Breast

the taste and texture reminds me of chuck white tuna (not a negative comment, just an observation)...so much so I checked the label to make sure I didn't open a can of Star-Kist by mistake, Why is there SO MUCH broth in the can? Must be 33% liquid, down the drain.

Cats love it...

I am sure this isn't healthy for my cats, but they seem to love it. I don't lol...probably because it came looking like Godzilla played soccer with the box and cans. One of the cans was leaking. Funny-the box holding all my Sams club items wasn't damaged-just the chicken...

Makes quick easy dinners

This is a must have for those who need something quick to fix. I've already made chicken tortilla soup and chicken tostadas with these cans. Two cans apiece will last me probably 3-4 days but when I feed my brother-in-law it will last me 2 days. You can make chicken burritos, quesadillas, chicken pot pie....the proverbial chicken soup, anything that requires chicken this will work. The chicken tostada recipe called for one to buy a whole chicken and shred it...Yeah, I don't have the time or patience for that and this canned chicken did it. When I buy these I most definitely will have to buy 2 or more packs at a time because this will go faster than I can cook it.
