I make mac and cheese from scratch and by purchasing the 6 pound box, I also can make large batches of tuna casserole. I store in half gallon Ball jars using a Food Saver to vacuum out the air, keeping it fresh for a very long period of time, and not having to worry about getting little bugs.

We like the macaroni. Has a good flavor. I usually buy in the store. I needed it before I could get to a store so ordered online. Opened the shipping box and macaroni was laying in it. Opened the macaroni box and 2 bags were open. Macaroni dumped in the product box.

The pasta is great. The bag contains about 4 cups dry. Nutritional info said 8 servings of 1/4 cup (dry) noodles. It's either twice as many servings as it says or a serving is twice as large as it says.

Cooks to al dente in 10 minutes! Holds it shaped, very tasty pasta, even when you forget to add salt to the water. I use it in many dishes from cold pasta salads to Mac n Cheese. I purchase this elbow pasta monthly, sometimes biweekly.

I purchased two boxes of these because I love pasta and will use macaroni noodles for all of my main dishes. Here's the problem: even though this helps make good main dishes, the noodles themselves always turn out to be over cooked!! The first time I cooked with these they were fine once the meal was done, the next day I could literally take a macaroni noodle and rub it in between my fingers to make a noodle smear or paste. The last few times I under cooked the noodles and had the same thing happen. THIS time I didn't even cook the noodles. I added the uncooked noodles to ground beef, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, and two cups of chicken broth and let it sit for about 30 minutes and they still over cooked! I'm guessing these should be eaten the same day I use them because after a day or two, it's soggy noodle city!!! I don't understand how this received so many positive reviews! They had to have changed something because these noodles over cook whether you boil them or not!

My family loves my homemade macaroni and cheese. I have a family of 7. So, the bigger, the better. Thanks for offering this product.
