Added sugar is a deal breaker

This was the only peanut butter I got for my family because it was real, natural peanut butter. The only ingredients were organic roasted peanuts and sea salt. On a whim, I checked the ingredients list and noticed more ingredients. Seeing the added sugar was the deal breaker (the palm oil was not any better). Yes, with the original, some stirring was necessary, but I would take stirring over this “peanut butter spread” any day!

Awful!

Within a couple days of purchase I opened one and it had completely separated. Oils in peanut butter will leach out some over time and it will mix back in but not with this stuff. Appeared as though all of the oils had come out and wouldn't mix back in. The solids below the oil slick on top were hard, could mix it.

No Stir my Butt!

It's great tasting peanut butter but it's covered in oil at the top even though the label clearly says "no stir". No matter how hard you try you still spill some oil on the counter while stirring it. Also by the bottom of the jar it gets dry because there is no way for you to mix all that oil back in evenly.

Not Natural

This is not a natural peanut butter. This contains added sugar and oil. I bought it in a hurry, not realizing it's not actually natural. Natural peanut butter is meant to NOT contain added sugar and oils and sometimes even salt. It is very misleading and shouldn't be allowed to be labeled natural.

Disappointed in palm oil used

My local store has been out of Jiff peanut butter, so I purchased Member's Mark instead. The taste is okay but contains palm oil, a saturated fat, and, yes, I should have read the ingredients before purchasing. Just, FYI or TMI: To produce palm oil, the fruit is collected from the trees, which can live an average of 28 to 30 years. Once the trees grow too high, making it difficult to reach the fruit, they are cut down to make room for new trees - which contributes to deforestation of the rainforest. To keep up with the incredibly high demand for the cheaply produced oil, acres of rainforest are being cut down - leading to a loss of animal habitat for endangered species. In the past 16 years, the quest for palm oil has led to the death of an estimated 100,000 orangutans, according to research. Other animals such as elephants, rhinos and tigers are also at risk. Disappointed Sam's feels the need to use palm oil when there are other alternatives such as vegetable oil.

Used to be our favorite peanut butter

We loved this peanut butter because it was delicious, such a good price and had simple ingredients (peanuts and salt). Now, it contains sugar and palm oil which not only drastically changed the texture but also the taste and nutritional value. Boo, Sam's Club. Boo.

Beware of no stir

This is not a No Stir peanut butter. Be very careful when you take the inner cover off. There is quite a bit of oil separation and you will be wearing it or cleaning it up and the oil is very difficult to clean. It tastes good, but I wouldn't recommend this for a sandwich, due to the fact it is fairly thin. I would buy again, but now I know what it's going to be like.

It's just not good

I read the ingredients and realized it wasn't a true natural PB before buying. I still gave it a whirl based on the low price for sandwiches and whatnot. It's just not good. Weird taste, gritty, not peanut buttery. If I'm going to eat not actual natural PB, I'll just stick with Jif from now on.

The best!

This peanut butter is delicious: not too salty, not too sweet. Surprise! It tastes like peanuts and reminds me of the peanut butter we made from scratch while living in West Africa. We ran out recently and I couldn't get to the big city to stop by Sam's so I bought another brand from our local store. Yuck! Not only was it extremely sweet and salty, it was also grainy. And if nothing else convinces you this peanut butter is worth a try, this might. My thrifty husband even agreed we could throw out that grainy other brand now that I'be been able to restock with Member's Mark.

We love this peanut butter

As a life-long Jif devotee, I'll admit I was skeptical of a "generic" peanut butter. This Members Mark PB is better than Jif and the price can't be beat. The flavor is great, not too sugary and just the right balance of salt and creaminess. This is our go-to brand of PB now and I have no reason to go back to Jif. Thanks Sam's Club!
