No Stir is a lie!

Used to be a decent peanut butter. But the last jars I bought in November 2022 are disgusting. When opening them there was at least a 1/2” of oil on top. Had to stir forever to try to incorporate it and it still didn’t work. Threw the first jar out after it was like pouring chowder on my toast. Second jar was just as bad so threw it out too. Don’t waste your money

Are you serious?

No stir? If you open a jar of peanut butter, and there's 3/4 inch of oil swimming on top... wouldn't you be tempted to stir it? Top rated? As you use up the peanut butter, stirring it first each time you open it, you get less and less oil, and it gets thicker and thicker, until you get near the bottom of the jar, at which point it's so thick that the spoon handle bends under the stress.

Bring back the large size Peter Pan

I have been satisfied with other Member's Mark Items, so I decided to try this one due to lack of options. The taste is okay, but not great. The no stir claim is NOT TRUE. You have to stir and stir and even then it's still greasy. Get to the bottom of the jar and it's so hard it won't spread. First and last purchase of this item.

Way too much palm oil

This stuff is garbage. They put so much palm oil in it that it's like thick peanut-colored soup. It also kills the flavor so badly that Skippy (I compared) tastes more like peanuts than this stuff does. I will not be buying it again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Peanut Butter Spread vs. Peanut Butter

In case anyone else wanted to know why peanut butter was 'runnier' now, I was curious & found the reason. In the U.S., peanut butter spread is required to have only a minimum of 60% PEANUTS. To be labelled as peanut butter, not spread, it must contain a minimum of 90% PEANUTS. Even the name brands have switched to selling the lower quality 60% peanut butter spread as the standard.

It's Spread, not Peanut Butter

Really disappointed that the listing doesn't identifies this as Peanut Butter, rather than Peanut Butter Spread. I thought I looked to make sure, but when the product arrived it was not as listed. The description in the body of the listing calls it spread, but this information should be on the ordering page. It's kind of like labeling it incorrectly, because it's a Sam's product listing on their site next to other products that ARE called spreads.

NOT NO STIR!

If you plan to let the peanut butter sit for more than a day prepare for the oil to separate. My jar currently has about 1/4-1/2 of an inch of oil sitting on top. The taste is nothing like the Skippy peanut butter that was replaced. I hate to waste food but I'm debating throwing it away because it's just not good.

No knife needed- Just pour it out.

If the plastic that holds the two jars together wasn't there, you'd be able to see the oil and tell that it's definitely NOT no stir. I opened one jar as soon as I got home from the store. It needed to be stirred. While stirring, oil sloshed over the side. I set the knife down on top of the PB to get a paper towel, and the knife sank to the bottom of the jar. I had to hold the bread right next to the jar to avoid dripping PB on the counter. While eating my sandwich, the peanut butter was dripping out the bottom. The taste was barely okay. I'll be returning this and going back to Peter Pan.

No Stir My Patooty

I have tried "Natural No Stir" peanut butters in the past but since I like most Member's Mark products I tried it. The peanut butter was for a candy recipe. I needed both jars. But, instead of using the Member's Mark peanut butter I had to go to the store and buy someone else's brand. I was not real happy. Read on to find out why. I was totally disappointed when I opened it and yep -- oil was standing on the top. So I know what to expect...by the time you get to the bottom of the jar you find the peanut cement....no matter how often or long you stir it as you were using it. It is impossible to stir up unless you take it completely out of the jar. You can not even stir it when it gets to a half a jar. The bottom is too stiff to stir with any implement I have. I am now really disappointed in Member's Mark. I still wonder how you can label something as "No Stir" when it is definitely anything but no stir. I have been trying to decide if my Sam's membership is truly worth it or not. I am now a little closer to cancelling my membership. Or stock up on toilet paper and paper towels and cancel. And only get another membership when I run out. OR try ...

Won't buy again...not happy!

Not happy with this product at all. The label on the Peanut Butter says it's natural and it is, but it still has Palm Oil in it. The peanut butter is super thin and oily. It drips off the bread or whatever you put it on. The flavor is acceptable but I've had completely natural peanut butter before that does separate but once mixed is not runny and is the right texture. I have to assume that there is a overly large amount of Palm Oil in this product that makes is super runny, Since Palm Oil is cheap to add, I believe Member's Mark has traded providing a quality product to the customer for profit to their company. Although I buy a lot of Member's Mark products from Sam's Club and am happy with most. This one I would say, purchase your peanut butter somewhere else.
