Good luck opening the package and getting the batteries out. I have arthritis in my hands and this packaging is impossible! You have to have a sharp pair of scissors and cut the battery card to expose the layer of cardboard and plastic. Then you take a razor blade to separate the plastic and the cardboard. Not worth it to save a few cents.

In this household are two adults (and no children) with concerns about the protective packaging in new “child resistant packaging”configuration. Specifically - we both have finger/hand dexterity issues. - we also have hearing loss issues. - the manual force that it takes to cut open a plastic and cardboard is extremely intense, and frustratingly upsetting. - the area that the instructions say to cut is so small and almost impossible to cut. - Various cuts in the plastic and cardboard still present a challenge to pry the batteries out. - Trying to cut the container results in sharp plastic shards (SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS) that not only small children could eat, but also pets, and if one does not wear protective EYE glasses, some of those sharp, plastic pieces could blind someone (ME). - this “solution” from the child dying in 2022 does not resolve how the “adult“ disposes of the batteries AFTER wearing them. - the hearing aid solution still does not absolve the “adult/parent” from their responsibility to have a safe environment for their child and by keeping small objects (paper clips, thumbtacks, screws, coins, and the list goes on and on) out of the reach of the child. - and for those who need to have a back-up battery in one’s possession when away from home and the first one has no more power, and having a pair of scissors in one’s pocket, is not common nor practical. - and for an individual to PRE-cut several at one time actually exacerbates the problem by having multiple choking objects nearby. Therefore we are now caught between a rock and a hard place as a consumer! I also understand the predicament you were forced to be in under the Reese law. Although that law seems to ignore people in our situation. SOLUTION: take this back to the lawmakers and allow battery makers to provide BOTH packaging options. Not everyone who has hearing challenges have small children in the house. It appears to have been over regulated. It is the parents’ responsibility to take care of and train small children as appropriate. Oh and by the way, train them not to play in the street! I realize whoever gets this email can probably delete it instead of responding or forwarding these comments from disgruntled customers of Sam's Club to the other powers who make these decisions. The batteries do not seem to last quite as long as some of the name brands but for the price your still ahead. The packaging is not user friendly. The install tab is too small.We pay more elsewhere for another brand. The ease of use in the rotary 8 pack and larger install tab is worth the difference to us.Good deal if you can work the packaging.

Looked like a good deal, NOT Out of the first 8 batteries at least 3 have only lasted one day. Due to questions about quality I started keeping track on a calendar. I'm not sure how long the first couple lasted. Save time and Money and but Duracell Hearing Aid Batteries.

My 3 year old daughter wears hearing aids and we always use Energizer and they always last 5-7 days so when I saw these for the price, I thought WHY NOT? Well, these literally last 2 days. Meaning that I have to change her batteries every other day. Definitely not worth it.

As others have said, the packaging is very inconvenient. Normally, I rely on Member's Mark products and consider them good value. Unfortunately, these 312 batteries do not conform to my expectations. I just changed my most recent set at a mere 74 hours of normal use, which includes maybe two hours/day of streaming audio of online videos. I will say this - the quality control must be quite good, because I get a warning tone in both my left and right Phonak aids within a few minutes of each other. This tells ,me the manufacturing is consistent, though the decrease in overall duration is leading me to soon try different brands.

These batteries have decent life - definitely worth it for the price. The one thing I don't like about them is the packaging. It's cumbersome and inconvenient. I've dropped far too many batteries trying to peel the cardboard back from the plastic which is very frustrating. I am eager to finish this bunch of batteries so that I can purchase batteries that come in a wheel instead. If, at some point in the future, Sam's changes the packaging to something more convenient and useful than what they currently have, I will gladly purchase these again. Until that time, I'm going elsewhere.

I would like to review the hearing aid batteries 312 sam’s brand. 40 per card and i bought 3 cards. I am like your other customers. I am in my 70’s, have severe arthritis in my joints and especially in my hands. I find I am getting about 3 days on a set if batteries. Which is not real good. The biggest problem with these batteries that is on a card is getting them off the card. It takes forever trying to get them off the card. When these batteries are used up I will not buy them again. They are not user friendly trying to get them off the card. I may have to just put them away and get others that are easy for a senior citizen to take off the card. Because of this I give 1 star or even less. I am so disappointed with this Sam’s Club’s product. They are senior citizen torture getting them off.

I have been using these batteries for several years. The value of the batteries is great. New packaging is almost impossible to open. Makes changing batteries on the run impossible since scissors are required to open the package. I do not carry a pair of scissors with me when I am out and about. I will not be buying any more of these until the old style packaging is returned.

These batteries last3 days maybe 4 days if lucky. The Duracell lasted about 6 to 7 days. I was always knew when the batteries would be going out with the Duracell. Every Sunday was battery changing day. No embarrassment but this brand you never know.
