This shelf is very easy to assemble, and 1 person can do it alone. I suggest removing panels from box one at a time, bc the packaging with everything in it is very heavy. The shelf looks exactly as described, and is true to the pics posted. The 8 cubes give you PLENTY of storage and allows you to declutter in style! A+ for this item. Delivery was via FedEx and arrived without damage.

This piece of furniture is so well-made! It's heavy (85 pounds), has good instructions to put it together, and is withstanding the onslaught of 3 two year olds! It is easy to put together, uses a multitude of wooden pegs, and even a two year old helped place the pegs! It is beautiful, has 8 large bins for storage (most have 6) and is so functional I may get another one! You can't go wrong with this piece of furniture!

These are great for toys or kids rooms! They are large bins and easy for kids to pull in and out. We have them in both my three year olds bedroom and playroom. He can put away his clothing and toys without us having to worry about drawers falling on him! Love these!

Purchased two of these cube units for our home. I am extremely pleased. The directions were super easy to follow. I put these units together by myself without any help in about 20-30 minutes. All of the parts are labeled clearly and you only need one screwdriver to complete installation. I love the deep color - super dark, almost black. The cream colored baskets are included and they look nice. I'm incredibly happy with his purchase!
