Straws are individually wrapped in paper. They have a fairly small diameter, so I use two. I have had no problems with these straws.

wish they sold the blue straws that sams uses, these straws are short and thin and slender in diameter. wouldn't buy again, might be good for small children or a daycare!

The 10.25 inch giant straws I ordered say they are great for milkshakes thus you would expect a large opening. The circumference is very small. I have been buying 10.25 inch jumbo straws from GFS and the opening is large.
