If you think most dried apricots are too stiff and chewy, you will like these. Unfortunately I'm in the other camp. I had picked up some small packages of dried apricots at a local supermarket and buzzed through them in short order—so I was excited to see this product for a comparatively good price and in a quantity that will last longer. I was less excited when I opened the bag and the apricots were not as dry as the ones I was accustomed to. In fact, they were so moist I was concerned that they might have been spoiled. After determining that they were ok, my next thought was, "surely these can't be left out like the other ones?"... and in fact they cannot. I had to hunt for it on the bag, but there were the words REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING. If fridge space is at a premium at your house like it is at mine, suddenly needing to find a place for this sizable bag is not good news. I wonder how many people don't see that, and leave the product out as can typically be done with "dried" fruit (raisins, dates, figs, etc.). As I was typing this, it also occurred to me that with the apricots not being thoroughly dried, you're paying for excess moisture—so this is not quite as good of a value as I initially thought. I might toss some of these in my dehydrator and see if I can tighten them up a little bit. I'll probably never be comfortable not putting them in the fridge, but at least my hands won't get sticky trying to eat them. The apricots themselves seem to be of good quality, and they are in a nice bag with a resealable zipper that actually works, and the opening is big enough for most adult hands.

Quality of apricots is good, packaging is terrible. I buy a package of these every few months, and the "ziploc" sealer was not attached to one side of the package on the last few packs, rendering it useless. Once open, the apricots have to be stored in a separate package. If they'd fix the ongoing issue with packaging, this would be a 5-star product.

Package arrived yesterday and, after opening, contents found to be a gooey mess. Some of the apricots looked like they had been pureed. I have spread the contents on paper plates to see if they can be dried out. I have purchased dried apricots for decades and never seen anything like this. Wife stated that they taste fine. I'll wait a week.

The stuff is not fit to eat. I would not feed it to a rat.

I used to buy all the time but the last 4 times over a year they tasted fermented like they have been sitting in a trailer in the sun for months!

they're apricots. unfortunately I don't think they'll last, being so wet with moisture that they stick together, and seem like they are currently or will be going bad. don't buy until you know they're dry and not gooey.

I was not pleased to find how wet and slimy the "dried" apricots were when they arrived. Customer service was quick to respond and process my request for a refund though for this product. I would not recommend this product and wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing, it would appear I am not alone in being unhappy with the plethora of moisture.

Best dried apricots. Better than other brands. Excellent value. Eat as a snack or chop up and cook with rice (beautiful balance to spiced rice). I wish they stocked these more consistently, but it could be due to changing crop patterns around the world. I look forward to seeing these stocked again.
