Great gloves

We purchased Plainsman Leather Gloves in the past and have been very satisfied with the quality, wearability, and construction of the gloves. The leather used wore extremely well. With this order, one set for my husband and one set for me, we were very disappointed. The smell of the chemicals used to process the leather was overwhelming. We couldn't keep the gloves in the house and hung them in the garage, hoping the smell would dissipate. After several weeks, the obnoxious smell persists. The gloves are a total disappointment. We are hoping by spring we will be able to wear them without being nauseated by the smell.

These are the best gloves I have found. I have tried many pairs for work and motorcycle riding and nothing I have tried is better. I dye them black for work and my original pair (6 years of motorcycle riding) still look, feel, fit, and work great. For the best fit I wash, dye, or use on hot day and the glove forms to your hand. I just wish the clubs in my area still carried these gloves.
