These new "max fresh" diaper genie refills are not near as good as the original refills, and they are more expensive. I only ordered these because the original ones were not available the last time I needed to purchase. I really didn't think twice about it because I'd never noticed any smells coming from our genie. Our diaper genie now smells like a diaper pail when before we never noticed any odors. I even changed the carbon pack in the lid and it did not help at all. I've actually only changed this pack maybe once in the almost two years we have used the diaper genie. I would definitely NOT recommend this product unless there is an overhaul in the odor blocking technology. As for durability and thickness of the bag? Not horrible, but definitely no better than the originals.

I'd have to change the liner before it was full because the smell leaked out so badly it filled the whole upstairs. We went through 2x the amount because these couldn't hold in the smell. They're thicker than the regular Diaper Genie but that's the only positive.

These are horrible! They are thicker, but the smell emits more and is awful!

This doesn't help reduce odors and it's overpriced considering the fact that it doesn't accomplish the purpose for which it was made.
