The only downside to this one was that its flavor was so strong that even if I put creamer in it, it was still overwhelming all the other flavors I tried adding, so it's great for certain drinks or recipes but a little bit much for me for my every morning cup! I will say that wow, the aroma of this one was phenomenal and so much more strong and bold than other flavors I've tried, in all seriousness I would go to my kitchen list to catch a good whiff of these grounds!

Verona has been my favorite coffee since I discovered it 20 years ago. Recently I was forced to give up caffeine for medical reasons so I started to look for Verona decaf only to find it has been discontinued! I have used Verona exclusively for years and to try to find a replacement is going to be difficult to say the least. Starbucks please reconsider!

This blend is my all time ultimate favorite! It is my 'go-to' blend when I can't decide on anything else or just want that classic flavor in a genuine cup of joe. Even though it is a tad on the bold side - of all the bolds Starbucks carries - this one is the smoothest bold you could touch to your tastebuds!

This is my sixth order of this coffee. I panicked when I discovered the packaging had changed. It is the same wonderful coffee thank goodness! I order 3-6 bags at a time. I am the only one who drinks coffee in my house and feel I am definitely worth it. It is an excellent coffee choice for people who love full bodied coffee.

We use a drip coffee maker with a side single cup maker. Verona is equally good in either. Bold, smooth, no hint of off flavors and a touch of chocolate. We keep coming back after trying cheaper brands. It IS expensive but we can't seem to find any equivalent in the dark roasts at our local stores or from craft roasters. I'm addicted.

I am not a dark coffee drinker normally, but the flavor of this blend of Starbucks is amazing! I enjoy it in the morning and have to admit that sometimes it is a nice indulgence in the evening with dessert. I encourage you to try it if you like a beautiful flavored and balanced coffee!

Ok what just happened? I bought this ground coffee around 4 months ago it was the best coffee i ever tasted. Bought this thing again and its the complete opposite. It went from being the best to like really crap. Like from a 9/10 to a 2/10. Is this a bad batch? Im seeing many reviews of people saying the same thing.

I've always been a Starbucks fan, I tried Komodo Dragon, Sumatra, Italian Roast and Pikes coffee and all were great! One day, I'd went and got Cafe Verona, Similar to Morning Joe's, I notice a soothing, strong, sweet smell when brewing, when I took my first sip of it, omg, I notice a rich, impressive taste, especially on my tongue, the second and third sip, I tasted a sweetness of chocolate in my mouth, kinda makes you Thirsty for water, its a very intense, bold and very good, yummy coffee, definitely love it, the best they have, I suggest drinking it with your breakfast, or a piece of pie, definitely buy again!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starbucks has a great tasting coffee with their Decaf House Blend. It's not acidic or bitter tasting. It's a nice smooth coffee. It's especially good to have when you really want a coffee, but it's too late in the day for it. Which is when I have it. I have the k-cups, but you'd think I brewed a pot of coffee. This really is a great tasting coffee.
