Great coffee

Coffee is somewhat bitter. I guess if you are adding all the sugar and creamers that they do at Starbucks it would be drinkable. My husband likes his coffee black and has asked me, what happened to the Folgers?

A friend gifted me a bag. I finally tried it after running out of my butterscotch flavored coffee. Well, it's my new go-to and I'm hooked! It's a rich dark roast cocoa flavor which is very flavorful.

Our Sam’s does not carry Cafe Verona, so I ordered online. Being very particular about freshness, this was within freshness date, but not fresh enough for our taste.

Yes, it's pricey, so I "treat" myself to a bag every few bags of coffee I buy. I love a dark coffee, but I don't care for bitterness or the "smokey" flavors of many really dark coffees. Caffe Verona fits the bill! I think the description "Roasty Sweet and Dark Cocoa" is apt, although don't mistake"cocoa" for "mocha". I would say it's on the less dark end of their dark coffees, but still has the boldness one associates with dark roasts.

We have always purchased Caffe Verona ground coffee in small packages at grocery stores, and have always enjoyed it. Recently, we have out-of-town visitors stayed with us for about a week and thought we would purchase a larger package. Starbucks’ Caffe Verona was consistently good.

Review ? Starbucks Cafe Verona ? People either Love Starbucks or don't care for it. We LOVE Starbucks Cafe Verona. We prefer the smaller bags. It stays fresher that way. Small bags are getting hard to find in most grocery stores. Sam's Club has only this size available. Can't beat the price! Review Sam's Club Online Services: Surprising!! Impressive!! Best Prices!! Sure beats dealing with RUDE, Insolent, Disrespectful people, on the roads and in the store! (not the Sam's Club Employees, I've yet to encounter one that wasn't nice)
