If drying fast, lightweight and loudness are important features for you, then this fits the bill. It's not “quiet”(no dryer is) but on full speed/heat it is far better than most.

I have never spent this much on a hair dryer and I was a bit nervous about buying it. It is lightweight and dries my hair quick. I am very happy with this hair dryer.

Dryer works great, dries quickly, hair is shiny and smooth. Very long cord, which is probably great for professional use, but a little cumbersome to deal with for personal use and makes it a little heavier than I would like.

This is the best hair dryer I have ever had! I have fine hair but lots of it and this dries twice as fast as any other hairdryer I have ever had. Excellent overall.

So lightweight, quiet, and fast-drying. Worth the price, as it will last! Who knew Sam's would have this? I had been looking at it online and at another store - but it was $40 less at Sam's!
