First time buyer on this site. The XL size I ordered was too large because the XL size designation varies from vendor to vendor. Too much of a hassle to return the item I purchased. 2 problems: 1. Insufficient information about size. Much more precise size dimensions are needed: chest, waist, torso legnth, for extra tight fit, light fit and loose fit. 2. Quality of various models is impossible to evaluate from info provided online. Description of quality is confusing and incomprehensible. "Try before you buy" is clearly the conundrum/impediment of both vendor and customer.

I have been wearing Hanes Athletic Undershirts for years and they make the best A-shirts. The design is perfect with a snug fit, scooped neckline, narrow arm straps and armholes that are not too deep cut. The fabric is soft and the length is good. The one flaw is that they have started to run small and don't quite fit true to size. If the sizing was correct, I would have given 5 stars.

These t-shirts are not true to size but very small and tight. I ordered large and they fit like small shirts.

On one of the tanks the shoulder is sewed on incorrectly and the upper tank is in something of a knot... very weird. I guess 5/6 isnt bad. Expect better quality control from Hanes.

Medium felt like an extra small. It was skin tight. It felt poorly made like it would fall apart after washing it once or twice. And it is paper thin. You see right through it

Quite possibly the smallest 4xl A-shirt I've ever bought. They are the same length as a 2xl of other brands. My wife who is wears women's large can wear these tank tops after the dryer got a hold of them.

Very short not nearly long enough they barely tuck in when there new once they are washed and lose a little length like they always do they will be extremely short very disappointed

I bought thiz as a gift. The person I was buying this for only wanted black but I could only find black in packages of mixed colored in other stores. This was the only place that had packages of all black and it was a brand name - Hanes.

I use all three cuts of Hanes undershirts. The A-shirt is great for the warmer days. It is cooler and still offers all that I expect from an undershirt. It really help keep my dress shirts smooth and looking good.

My son and husband both love these shirts. They wear them around the house or under their other clothes when they’re out! They’re great undershirts and I always get them a set when I can! Sam’s offers them at a great price!
