[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this "plain" Pennzoil for years in a lot of mostly older cars, i.e., "beaters", and had really good results doing so. Everyone is so excited about synthetic oils these days, and while they are excellent, they tend to be quite costly. It's good to know that Pennzoil's "basic" product has been great for years, and has also been improved over the years. An excellent product at a reasonable price!

Didn't know much about cars back then so I actually went through a couple different brands before Pennzoil but once it made its way into my engine I was hooked. I have continually used Pennzoil products in all my cars because when I buy a car, I like to keep it around for a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was young I assumed all motor oils were the same. Then I put cheap oil in an old pickup. The engine was much noisier and I was afraid it would fly apart. I immediately went to the auto parts store and asked what they recommended. The counter guy was a weekend racer who swore by Penzoil. I drained out the junk oil and put in Penzoil. The engine quieted down immediately. I have used nothing but Penzoil for the last 35 years.

I have used conventional Pennzoil for years and currently have one vehicle with 260,000 + miles and one that pulls a 30 ft, 10,500 lbs 5th wheel with 155,000 miles on it. I have never had an oil related problem on ANY of my vehicles (current or past) with Pennzoil in use. When I had to do intake gaskets on the vehicle with 260+ on it because of a coolant leak, the lifter valley and inside the engine was crystal clean. Neither vehicle uses any oil between 3000 mile changes or has any sign of exhaust smoke. I will remain to be a loyal customer as long as you make a superb product.

I am in the auto parts industry and sell a lot of different motor oil. Options for oil are crazy, there are so many different brands out there! Well the choice for me was easy, because I've seen the Pennzoil name for a long time as a big fan of Steve Park, and now Joey Logano, I support the sponsors, and have not been disappointed yet! Only oil I put in my vehicles! Only oil I recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the 10W 30 in my auto with wonderful results. Sold the vehicle with 366 thousand and still running strong when I saw my old car years later with 422 thousand on it then. Change you're oil and good things happen.

I usually have my oil change at stores that carry Penzoil....because I have owned a lot of different cars, makes and models and they all ran with out major engine problems...yes I keep 'em well past 100k....I can only attribute it to regular oil changes with Pennzoil..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use to use other brands of oil and when I became a Mechanic and started working on cars once I seen the different effects oils had on the inside of engines it made me a believer that depending on what brand oil you use has a lot to do with your engines life. I made the switch over 20 years ago and cant find one bad thing to say about Pennzoil. If you want to take care of your engine and extend your engines life span without spending a lot in repairs use Pennzoil I've seen inside of many engines and with Pennzoil it keeps the inside looking new.
