I am a TRUE FOODIE and I simply LOVE trying new foods & seasonings. So, when I learned that Hidden Valley had a new Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix Shaker I immediately went out to buy it. To date, my family and I gave tried it on salads, chips, eggs, popcorn, and a variety of meats and we like it more with each use. If you are a fan of ranch seasoning, this shaker is an easy and convenient way to add just the right amount, that you like, to any food. I just wish they made a bigger shaker because my family does thru the 8oz size way too fast.lol...

I bought a bottle at Sam’s Club and it was gone in 2 weeks, and that was the supersized bottle. I now have to pick one up at every visit. My children come to visit and my reserve bottle ends up missing. So it’s a hit with everyone. We use it on chicken, in burgers, as a dressing, in dips it’s very versatile. I’m glad I found it.

This item is perfect for someone like my wife, who doesn't measure ingredients, but always seems to makes the items taste great. She always just shakes it until she "thinks" its enough. And most of the time, it is enough. But from my side of things, it tastes just as great as the regular container where it is expected to measure. I have started to experiment by eyeballing it on burgers. So far so good. I would recommend this item to anyone. They will not be disappointed.

I buy the Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix Shaker because I can use it on so many things and not run out of it. I like to sometimes use it in recipes and sometimes use it to sprinkle on frozen french fries before baking them just to flavor them up. Finding recipes on the Ranchology Site is easy and just being creative knowing I can sprinkle it on, mix it with mayo or sour cream to spread on things etc.

I love this product however on the ingredients list it has maltodextrin, some products specify what the maltodextrin is made from from. This can be an issue for someone who had an allergy to barley or corn. A lot of companies will specify whether or not it's corn. Someone in my family has a barley allergy can not eat this product for this reason only.

Guys, no joke this is good stuff!! I used to purchase the boxed dip sets and keep folding down the open flap to reseal it. This shaking seasoning canister makes it easier to add a zest of hidden valley ranch yumminess to any dish!! Our family loves it on our loaded baked potatoes!!

We have been buying the canister for many years. Love its versatility. We use it to make dressing, season vegetables, season meat dishes, etc. The only problem we have is sometimes the mix hardens in the canister. What can we do to prevent this? The top is always closed tightly.

I used to use only the original ranch shaker but thought I'd give the homestyle seasoning shaker a try, and I'm glad I did. I use both the original and the homestyle all the time. I make my own seasoning mix for some of my meats and fish, and use both of the shakers along with many other herbs, spices and bread crumbs to make my mixtures.

IT'S NOT A PARTY W/O THE SPINACH DIP I made a double recipie of this for my daughters' second bday party w/ a side of veggie crudités. Just like in the serving suggestion, I just followed the super easy instructions and shazam. I got a ton of compliments and boy it was good.

My son also likes it when he's home from college and I use it to season cut up potatoes before I bake them in the oven. He has actually been known to make them for himself on occasion.
