I started buying the ranch shaker to save money years ago and glad I did. You can make your dressing(I prefer making it over bottled bcoz I use buttermilk) and can add whatever seasonings you want for a new flavor dressings and dips which I started doing long before HV came out with new ranch flavors of dressings/dips. I love to shake it on plain chips, crackers, popcorn, and on fries occasionally. I use it in pasta salads and occasionally deviled eggs. I sometimes use half mayo and ranch dressing as the base for my blue cheese dressing(prefer to make my own bcoz no one puts enough blue cheese crumbles in their bottled/jarred dressings). I make my dressing using half mayo and half plain yogurt to cut down on fat bcoz I eat it so often. Thhe best ranch dressing mix on the planet and I hope my ideas help others enjoy their uses with the shaker.

I bought this in a larger container at a bulk store and I'm so happy I did. It comes in handy for everything and I don't have to buy a bunch of little packets and have them sitting around half used. I think everything is better with ranch and if you don't want to dip it in ranch, seasoning everything with ranch is the best!

I ran out of my Ranch dressing and remembered that I bought The Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Mix Shaker a while back, so decided to give it a try making my own dressing. Amazing! I will always have the Ranch shaker in my home. Loved it more than I thought I would.

I have used Hidden Valley Dips mix on roasted potatoes and received compliments from my in-laws! I've used the mix on chicken and beef fajitas. I've made Hidden Valley's beef and noodle recipe using the dip mix which my family loved. And of course, using it as a dip for veggies and chips is great! My family also likes to use it as a baked potato topper instead of plain sour cream!

I bought this for a recipe. It was easy to use but I was disappointed it didn't have quite the same flavor I am used to from the packets of HVR seasoning. It was kind of expensive but I thought it would be the same as the packets but it wasn't really. I'm hoping it will mix up into good ranch dressing as the recipe for that is on the side of the shaker, but I haven't tried that yet.
